Around April each year, the park will host a cherry blossom festival to witness the spectacular sight of over 600 cherry blossom trees in full, vibrant bloom. ►Shimoyoshida Station Our bus will stop at Shimoyoshida Station, from where we'll walk to Arakurayama Sengen Park. En route, you’ll see Japanese-style houses, landscape-painted manhole covers, and a cute Thomas the Tank Engine ►Torii (photo spot) Capture the majestic Mount Fuji framed by the torii's silhouette, imbuing the scene with an air of sacred mystery. ►Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine (historical site) Shrine is a revered site for people seeking blessings and happiness. In 807 AD, after Mount Fuji erupted, causing widespread fear, the shrine held a grand ceremony to pray for peace and the mountain's calm. ★Honcho Street (Fujiyoshida Retro Shopping Street) (famous photo spot on ins) Next we'll move to Honcho Street, a charming and historic shopping street located in the town of Fujiyoshida. This street is famed for its retro Showa-style streets and the iconic Mount Fuji visible in the background. ►The famous Hikawa Clock Shop is located on this street. ★Oshino Hakkai (UNESCO World Heritage) Explore the Oshino Hakkai, a miraculous land sculpted by volcanic activity, boasting eight crystal-clear ponds.
