Welcome to our Ueno Food and Drink Tour, a journey through one of Tokyo's lively drinking districts where everyone enjoys eating and drinking outside! First Stop: Sushi at Ueno Station Our first destination is a local sushi spot inside Ueno Station, famous for its fresh fish. Locals love it, and there's always a line! They source their fish every morning from the market, ensuring you get to enjoy the freshest sushi in Tokyo. Second Stop: Gyoza Next, we'll try Japanese dumplings, or gyoza, at the best gyoza restaurant in Tokyo. They offer various flavors, giving you a true taste of this everyday Japanese favorite. The restaurant's lively vibe will make you feel like a local! Third Stop: Izakaya and Yakitori We'll then head to an izakaya, a Japanese-style pub, to try chicken skewers (yakitori). Yakitori is a must-try when drinking in Japan. You can choose from over 50 different alcoholic or soft drinks—try the recommended Yuzu Sour (yuzu liqueur and sparkling water)! Enjoy the night vibes and meet locals of all ages. Final Stop: Ramen We'll finish at a hidden ramen shop that serves amazing chicken soba. They use top-quality Oyama chicken, fresh vegetables, and Hidaka kelp. The broth is slow-cooked and double-strained for a smooth, rich flavor. This ramen, made with care and dedication, will be a fantastic taste experience! Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guide will share insights into Ueno's rich history and its significance in Tokyo's culinary scene.
