Description

You will receive the unique experience of making your own kimono from vintage, which will allow you to wear it in simple steps!! In our store, the class provides you an experience to learn how to wear a kimono by making it into two pieces and the folding part has been eliminated so that the fitting size of the kimono is more inclusive! (We try to collect kimono for all ages and body types) Our vintage collections generally come from handmade silk and are in great condition! Kimono with other accessories sets are usually high-cost because of their precious material and design. However, in our store, we try to make it affordable for everyone and allow you to have a special one-piece for you or for a loved one. By making the kimono into a two-part style, ANYONE can easily wear the Japanese traditional garment. What to expect in class: a) Women's Kimono 1. Select a kimono of your choice (additional charges for upgraded kimono; JYP2,000〜6,000) 2. Customize it to your size 3. Learn how to wear a kimono. 4. Photo time!! b) Men's kimono 1. Select a kimono of your choice ('haori' + 'kimono' set is additional JYP 2,000) 2. Print out your name in Kanji and choose the color of the font 3. Iron on kimono/ Learn how to wear 4. Photo time!! ***Other notes*** ・There is an additional charge for purchasing an obi (starting from JYP 4,000), but you are welcome to wear it for free for a photo. When you buy an obi, you will also receive an obiage and objime as a gift! ・Please note that our kimonos are vintage, so it might have stains in some areas. We are trying our best to preserve previous kimono culture, instead of ending in a landfill. ・We received the Gold Award at the Omotenashi Selection, which is given to outstanding products and services selected by a panel of foreigners living in Japan. For further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us :)) * Calculated at 132 yen per dollar
